 Light of Day Winterfest ready to rock Asbury Park for a good cause this weekend

The Light of Day Foundation WinterFest 2023, the annual music festival is taking place now through January 20 in Asbury Park, Red Bank, Montclair, New York City and Philadelphia.

Tickets for Light of Day Winterfest can be purchased for all shows individually, including Bob’s Birthday Bash (events in Montclair, New York City and Philadelphia are not included in any of the All-Access packages). John Waite has released 10 studio albums as a solo artist and his 1984 single “Missing You” reached No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and top-10 on the UK Singles Chart.  Waite was also the lead vocalist for bands Bad English and The Babys. Waite is the subject of a new documentary titled John Waite – The Hard Way, a reflection of his storied five-decade career.

All performances and events will raise money and awareness for its continuing battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and its related illnesses ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) within our lifetime.

Over the course of 23 years, Light of Day has utilized the awesome power of music to raise approximately $6.2 Million to combat Parkinson’s disease, ALS and PSP. Light of Day has grown from a one-day event into a multi-day festival in the metropolitan area. More significantly, Light of Day has expanded into an internationally recognized tour, through a true grassroots effort of musicians, music fans and benefactors. Light of Day shows have taken place around the world on three continents, with shows in Canada, England, Wales, Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and Australia. Portions of the proceeds from each show are donated to a local Parkinson’s organization.
