New Orleans Restaurants, Bars, and Music Venues Requiring Proof of Vaccination

 Some New Orleans bars, restaurants, and live music venues are going a step further to keep patrons and staff safe, requiring customers who wish to dine, drink, or attend performances inside to prove they’ve received a COVID-19 vaccine. The first to implement the policy was Melissa “DJ Soul Sister” Weber, for her weekly shows at Hi-Ho Lounge. That was followed by a collective policy announced by music venues Tipitina’s, D.B.A., and the Maple Leaf Bar that they would require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of admission.
