Music festivals linked to thousands of new Covid cases

 

Thousands of new Covid cases across England are being linked to various music festivals that have happened in recent weeks, as festival season continues to rage on.

Around 4,700 cases were linked earlier this week to Boardmasters festival in Cornwall which took place between August 11 and 15.

There were 50,000 attendees at the event in Newquay, which now has the three neighbourhoods with the highest infection rates in all of England.
