How Steven Tyler and Rolling Stone Will Give Miller Lite a Marketing Seat at the Super Bowl

If you want to see Steven Tyler perform during Super Bowl weekend, it won’t be on stage during the halftime show. The Aerosmith singer will be a headliner at Rolling Stone magazine’s Super Bowl party the night before the big game.

Rolling Stone is one of several media companies looking to cash in on the large sum of money advertisers part with for Super Bowl buzz.

NBC, which is broadcasting the Feb. 1 game, is the biggest beneficiary of the ad barrage surrounding the Super Bowl. The network says it is charging about  $4.5 million per 30 seconds of air time during the game.
