8th Annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival

Organizers of the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival announced that at least three WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers will be attending the 8th Annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival along with an Icelandic Surf Rock Band called “Brim”.

The WWE Hall of Famers will include: Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Honky Tonk Man and possibly others. Brooks Reynolds, Chair of the Iowa Bacon Board stated, “When Hacksaw Jim Duggan says he’s bringing some friends to your wrestling-themed bacon party, you just say ‘yes…sir’.”

With plans to fill all four levels of Hy-Vee Hall and Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, the one-day event will offer: extensive bacon sampling, bacon-inspired wrestling, bacon lectures, bacon-inspired dishes, bacon competitions, an annual bacon queen, bacon awards, live entertainment and international bacon fellowship.
