Melvin Seals & JGB and Karl Denson Will Perform as ‘Legion of Melvin’ to Round Out 4848 Festival Lineup

The 4848 Festival’s lineup is now complete. The festival, which will take place July 9-11 at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, W. Va., has announced that the final artists added to the lineup will be ‘Legion of Melvin,’ which consists of Melvin Seals & JGB and Karl Denson.

According the festival’s announcement on Facebook, “With their own unique interpretation, the band will honor the musical legacy of Legion of Mary, a much-revered Garcia side project that was active in 1974-75.”

Legion of Melvin joins an already stacked lineup, featuring two nights of Greensky Bluegrass, Grace Potter, Billy Strings, Goose and many more.
